Whenever you are doing a fire risk assessment in the work place, it’s almost like doing a fire risk assessment at home. However, when you are doing one in the work place, there is an extra step that you have to worry about looking at. This has to do with who is going to be in more danger if this fire risk problem does go up in flames, your visitors (or customers) or your employees. This is the first thing that you have to worry about. If it is endangering your employees, then you are going to want to take care of it right away. However, if it is endangering your customers, then you may get shut down until the problem is taken care of.

The first thing that you need to do when doing a fire risk assessment is to find potential fire hazards. This can be for a home or a business. The next thing you need to look at is how to evaluate the risk. You need to take the necessary fire precautions to make sure a fire will not happen in that area. After finding a spot that could be a fire risk, you should record it. This way you have it written down what you need to take care of and the steps you are going to take to take care of it. It is very important to keep your fire risk assessment under review. You need to stay on top of it, and make sure that something is getting done about the fire problem.

A lot of people do all they can to keep fires from happening, however, once in a while you need to do a fire risk assessment. So what is a fire risk assessment? This is where you take a look around your home or a place of business and look at all the things that could cause problems. You need to know where fires may happen and what the dangers are of a fire happening in that area. Then you need to take steps to keep fires from happening there. It is very important to stay on top of things, and make sure you know what to look out for. Always keep your employees or your family members up to date on any fire risk you find in the house.
